Online luxury retailer Mr. Porter has teamed up with esteemed British luggage maker Globe-Trotter to create this exclusive Carry-On Case for the discerning traveler. The piece was handmade for Mr. Porter in England using premium black and burgundy leather to construct the external shell and luxurious burgundy silk for the interior. The 21″ may look too refined for stuffing into an overhead compartment, but Globe-Trotter have beefed it up by using vulcanized fiberboard for added structural strength and capping the corners with thick riveted leather. With handles for carry or roller-wheels and an extending handle, it’s a versatile piece of traveling art. Priced at $1600 USD, the Globe-Trotter is currently available online only through Mr. Porter.
