San Fransisco based Mission Workshop have long made bags that I – as a lifelong cyclist – covet. Though I’ve yet to take the plunge & purchase one, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing a few up close & have always been impressed by the immense attention to detail & the conscious design of even the smallest aspect of their bags. This video outlining the manufacturing of their hardware has given me a whole new level of appreciation for exactly how much work goes into every individual piece, and really brought home the idea that great design is something you seldom even notice because it functions so fluidly.
