Indian designer Vikram Dinubhai Panchal has set a new mark, when it comes to third world solutions. Based on an idea at this year’s National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad India, comes the Load Carrier. The concept is simple, the execution, ingenious.
Lets start with the materials. Vikrim looked at available and familiar sources for the construction, like bamboo, raw metal and recycled plastic. All of which are incredibly strong and makes the load carrier easy to assemble.
What makes it so amazing however, is the three way carrying options. Both a head and back rack are engineered for maximum load and comfort, while little wheels on the bottom, make it an instant dolly for heavier goods. I tell you, third world or not, this game changer could make all of our lives a bit easier. Currently in development.
