Situated amidst hills in the Saitama region of Japan, lies an eclectic studio known as Southern Field Industries. Founded by Manabu Okada in 2008, the small collective produces handmade canvas products. So today we bring you a look at the S.F.I. fall 2011 collection and there’s no doubt in our minds you’ll enjoy it. The range is made up of a series encompassing Shoulder, Rucksack and Tote bags which come in a wide array of two tone colors. Heavy attention to minute detailing is clearly evident here with each piece featuring British Waxed Cotton, Japanese Plaid Cotton, Canvas, Vegetable tanned leather and YKK “Excella” Zippers. Easy access and front flap snap button closure systems finish things off nicely.
